31 Taiwanese Industry Professionals Awarded Master Financial Professional from the American Academy of Financial Management!

Taipei, Taiwan –
31 industry professionals successfully graduated from the first American Academy of Financial Management program in April 2006 in Taipei, Taiwan. This inaugural program – Master Financial Professional (MFPTM) was delivered by the faculty of Taiwan’s Soo Chow University’s School of Business.

Of the 31 participants, there were finance directors, finance managers, financial analysts and consultants, from many of the local government and financial service companies Huanan Bank, Union Bank, Fu Hua Bank, Cosmos Commercial Bank, Ta Chung Securities, Fu Bon Insurance and E.Sun Bank. The program was also attended by finance managers at local and multinationals operating in Taiwan. Professor Yung-Ho Chiu, Dean of Business School, Soo Chow University said “The response is simply delightful! We are pleased to be in cooperation with Ivy Education Group and the American Academy of Financial Management to provide high quality continuing professional development programs. Although the curriculum and program originated from the USA, the program also included relevant financial industry topics in Taiwan.”

Ms Pamela Peng, Program Director noted “We wanted to provide a professional training program that not only provides an internationally recognized certification, but also to impart practical industry skills and knowledge, to allow them to progress in their careers. We are elated at the positive feedback from this first group and are now working with AAFM to roll out other Continuing Professional Development and Certification programs.”
